Sundance Film Festival – VR on the Mountain

Our frequent client and partner Imagine Entertainment asked us to provide technical support at their VR on the Mountain exhibition at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, one of the hottest-buzzed Main Street venues at this year’s fest.

VR on the Mountain, held right up Main Street from the landmark Egyptian Theater at one of the hottest new venues in Park City, Firewood, was packed to capacity from open to close daily with festival attendees eager to check out the latest and greatest in virtual reality, who came in to try out demos, listen to expert panelists talk about future tech, have a hot chocolate at the Comcast Ventures hospitality lounge and more.

Our work at VR on the Mountain was primarily focused on providing additional tech support and event management on the ground for 12 hours a day for HTC Vive and Viveport (which showcased a variety of demos, including “My Brother’s Keeper from PBS , “Remebering Pearl Harbor” from Time-Life and more)  and NBCUni/Technicolor, which exhibited “Wonder Buffalo.”
